Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how SIDIX AI ("we", "our", or "us"), operated by Mighan Lab, collects, uses, and protects information when you use the SIDIX platform at sidixlab.com and related services including the SiDIX AI Threads integration.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

• Usage data: Questions submitted to SIDIX, session IDs, and response metadata — used to improve the AI corpus and quality of answers.
• Social media data: If you connect your Threads account via OAuth, we store your Threads user ID, username, and access token to enable posting on your behalf. We do not store your Threads password.
• Technical data: IP addresses (anonymized), browser type, and request logs for security and debugging purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the SIDIX AI assistant service
• To enable Threads auto-posting features you have authorized
• To monitor system health and prevent abuse
• To generate anonymized training data for improving SIDIX responses

3. Data Storage

SIDIX is a self-hosted, open-source platform. All data is stored on our private infrastructure (Linux server, encrypted at rest). We use SIDIX local engine for inference — your conversations stay on our server.

Threads access tokens are stored locally in an encrypted environment file and are never shared with third parties other than Meta Platforms (Threads Graph API).

4. Third-Party Services

SIDIX integrates with:

• Threads (Meta Platforms): For social media posting. Subject to Meta's Privacy Policy.
• SIDIX Local Engine: Local LLM inference — runs entirely on our server, no data sent externally.

5. Data Retention

Conversation logs are retained for up to 30 days for quality improvement. Threads tokens are retained until you disconnect your account or the token expires (typically 60 days). You can request deletion at any time by contacting us.

6. Your Rights

• Request access to your stored data
• Request deletion of your data
• Revoke Threads access at any time via the Threads app (Settings → Account → Apps and websites)
• Opt out of anonymized training data collection

7. Security

We implement standard security measures including HTTPS (TLS), environment variable encryption, and access controls. However, no system is 100% secure. Report security issues to contact@sidixlab.com.

8. Children's Privacy

SIDIX is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of SIDIX after changes constitutes acceptance.
